Fanfickk Drops Dreamy Singles 'Summer Sun' / 'Feel Better' + Video

Currently based in Melbourne, German-born Aotearoa electronic artist Fanfickk has reemerged with two new tunes plus a surprisingly optimistic looking DIY video, given the super-bleak tone of previous banger 'Everything's On Fire'. Lead single 'Summer Sun' adopts a swoony sonic palette inspired by happy things like "good friends, the affections of a cat, and a photo of someone in a garden", a dream-pop love song capped off with sunny visuals made using just a phone and projector during her present Australian hometown's strict lockdown. Bouncier B-side 'Feel Better' delves into darker lyrical themes, as Fanfickk explained: "It's about the helpless feeling that goes hand in hand with illness, and being too far away to comfort someone... It would be nice if it were less topical."
