The Biscuits Drop Double Single 'She's Strong' / 'Running' + Video
Not usually one for positive affirmations, The Biscuits' caning new single 'She's Strong' is one I can get behind this morning. Out today digitally, the tune lands with B-side accompaniment 'Running', and is due to be released as a 7" lathe cut on No Label once the alert levels allow it. It's been a minute since we heard from the tasty Tāmaki three-piece, who last graced our ears in 2017 on their birds-eye-view Albatross EP — a four track collection that was polished off by fans like a packet of double chocolate Toffee Pops (cc: me, last night). 'She's Strong' provides a much needed injection of guitar wailing energy today, along with a butterfly-infested, hawk-eyed visual treatment for a song about guitarist (and Drop Zone member) Indira Neville's "16 year-old daughter who went through a rough patch but came out the other side and is now as gloriously obnoxious as a teenager should be". Hit play and roll right into high-paced single number two 'Running'...
Neville also provided an artist impression of a "tour-cancelled-sad-Biscuit", see below...
