Released in conjunction with Waiata Anthems week (6 to 12 September), ahead of this year's Māori Language Week (13 to 19 September), Katchafire, Troy Kingi, Ria Hall, Anna Coddington and The Nudge share te reo versions of their bangingest bangers on Kono 003. Out today on Loop Recordings Aot(ear)oa, the third edition in the Kono series features five souped-up, reimagined tracks, kicking off with massive Anna Coddington and Louis Baker anthem 'Beams', retitled 'Aho' for the compilation, from Coddington's album of the same name. Not only does Troy Kingi feature twice on Kono 003 with fresh cuts of his songs 'Aztechknowledgey'/'Te Wai Nō Rua Whetū' and 'He Ōrite' with The Nudge, he also lands the sole translation credit for the new version of 'He Ōrite'.
