Instant Fantasy and Junus Orca Team Up For ‘To Breathe So Heavenly’
Ōtautahi sonic angels Instant Fantasy and Junus Orca dove deep into the aural ocean to record collaborative track ‘To Breathe So Heavenly’. This is the first new morsel from Instant Fantasy since their feature on Glass Vaults' 'Pure Imagination' last year, and Junus Orca's first release since dropping student radio hit 'I Did It All' with Kamandi two months back.
Out today with a hypnotising, jellyfish-centric visualiser, their new song was recorded in one go with the lights out, with artists Josh Holmes (Junus Orca) and Gemma Syme (Instant Fantasy) feeling "like we were sleeper sharks swimming in the depths of some ocean". At almost eight minutes long, the track takes its time to fully immerse the listener into its dark, ambient soundscape, pulling you further under with every new layer of noise, voice and reverb. It's time for some mindfulness, a tea break, and ‘To Breathe So Heavenly’...
