Now here's an unforeseen bonus spinning out from all the Level 4 lockdown guff we've been experiencing — the second EP in just over a week from The Forbin Project, the nom de plume of Tāmaki Makaurau electronic artist Amelia Berry (Amamelia, Fimo). Hitting my ears in sync with Monday's second caffeine rush, the spacily-titled Silent Running journeys from the first EP's 'ardcore roots into futuristic breakbeat-driven zones of elegance — recalling the hyped '94 junglist styles of Tom & Jerry and the liquid DnB dreaminess of LTJ Bukem's Logical Progression Vol. 1 (sans any long-winded breakdown bits).
