Clap Clap Riot Announce New Tour Dates + Share Video For 'It's Alright'

As Aotearoa's gig community keenly awaits for the coast to be clear again for live shows, Tāmaki Makaurau's Clap Clap Riot have made moves to ensure fans don't need to miss out on their forthcoming nationwide tour. Punting the ball down the road just a little bit further, they've gone and announced the newly dubbed Third Times A Charm tour, hitting the four main centres in the summer month of February 2022, and to sweeten the deal they've also launched a brand new video for latest anthem ‘It’s Alright’. Already a zippy punk rock banger, CCR get their personal bubbles on in the song's sleek clip directed by Karlie Fisher and Sacha Stejko, and made with support from NZ On Air — providing an ace showcase for recent addition Alex Freer's (Tiny Ruins, Phoebe Rings) smokin' skills on the skins. Don't make them announce a fourth one, keep wearing that mask and head along to CCR's Third Times A Charm tour at the new dates below — all UTR ticket holders will be emailed direct with updated details...

UPDATE: Clap Clap Riot's nationwide tour has been cancelled due to new Covid-19 restrictions, here's the band's full statement:

"Kia ora friends, Unfortunately the third time was not the charm and the move to the red light setting means we can no longer pull off our February tour safely. This time, it's a straight-up cancellation.

Thanks to everyone who bought tickets, especially those who have been hanging on to them since our original tour in March 2021. You should receive an email from UTR (Moshtix for Wellington)for your refund.

We are obviously very disappointed, but very much looking forward to getting back on the stage in front of you later in the year, or next year, or whenever restrictions allow.
