Currently based in LA with her other excellent band Girl Friday, the Pōneke upstart is relentless in the roll out of her debut Flying Nun collection It’s Your Birthday, with this new single landing while lead track 'YOU!' is still being blasted on student radio and echoing through every corner of my brain. As the title suggests, 'I Want 2 B Boy' is about "the multiple layers of feelings you get when you step into yourself. Joy! Pain! More confusion!", with the self-directed web collage visuals taking a step towards the simple, hypnotic pleasure of watching someone speed eat.
