Keepsakes Winter Tour Of Aotearoa Announced
Recently relocated back to Ōtautahi from Berlin following 2020's Covid dramas and the temporary suspension of pretty much all EU nightlife events, Keepsakes has announced a forthcoming national tour hitting the four main centres this month. The nom de plume of James Barrett, Keepsakes is a globally respected figure in the uncompromising realm of techno music, carving out a full time career as a producer and DJ while in Europe that saw him grace decks in such key club contexts as Berlin’s legendary Tresor and Paris’ Glazart (among a massive list of EU hotspots), and release works via Perc Trax, South London Analogue Material, Mord, and Mindcut. Well known to local techno aficionados as co-founder of independent imprint / event organisers Haven with partner Marie Celeste (Jaded Nineties Raver), dwellers at the harder end of the electronic dance spectrum should feel very stoked indeed — grip the details here...
