NZ-based imprint Strangelove Music are masters of bringing to light hidden aural treasures, as proven on last year's must-hear Kiwi Animals: Future / Primitive Aotearoa collection of '80s and early '90s DIY gems. Having attracted a devoted local following for their off-the beaten path releases, the label's latest drop isn't a reissue this time, but a brand new collection from Irish "vinyl wallah, mix engineer and producer" t-woc, entitled Pantangle. Weaving a third ear-expanding, genre-defying sonic tapestry that's going great with my second cup of coffee, the club-friendly steel drum-inflected beatscapes of Pantangle do indeed deliver "6 tracks of dope sound system bashment" and can be listened to via the stream below and / or in a must-cop vinyl LP edition — presumably hitting a record store near you soon...
