ONONO Debut Album Release Tour Announced
ONONO 2.0 are taking their new flavour of electro-pop direct to the people this July, celebrating their debut full-length album with a hot-ticket, seven-stop nationwide tour. Frontman Jonathan Nott (Hans Pucket, BROODS) has recruited a fresh touring team of Leonardo Coghini, Katelin Little and Sam Notman for the winter show dates, and will be kicking off festivities on July 2nd with a home town launch gig in Te Waiharakeke, before zig-zagging around the rest of the country. ONONO's self-titled album will drop late next month on mysterious new label Supergroup Recordings, expanding on the psych-pop stylings of previous EPs Bad Posture and Stand while leaning further into the catchy synth-pop of recent singles 'Fontelina' and 'LUV ME 2' [plus new single / video 'The Island' here]. ONONO Announces Album Release Tour for his Debut Self-Titled Album
ONONO are set to embark on their most extensive tour of Aotearoa this July. Hailing from the creative hub that is Poneke/Wellington, the band is set to deliver their new flavour of cinematic pop through emotive soundscapes, deep grooves and monstrous riffs.
ONONO is the expansive personal project of performer and producer Jono Nott. Jono cut his teeth as the live drummer for internationally-renowned pop duo BROODS, touring with them all over the world and playing festivals such as Coachella. Pop songstress ROBINSON recognised his talent and snapped him up to be her touring drummer in New Zealand.
Whilst writing, recording and touring with indie-pop legends HANS PUCKET, he has been slow-cooking a new strain of emotionally charged pop. Finally, Jono is ready to share it with the world. By pulling together some of Wellington's finest multi genre musicians; Leonardo Coghini, Katelin Little and Sam Notman, the ONONO live show has reached a new level. The debut full-length album is set to be released in late June 2021, via brand spanking new indie label Supergroup Recordings.
The nationwide tour kicks off in Jonathan's hometown of Te Waiharakeke/Blenheim and takes them through Poneke/Wellington, Otautahi/Christchurch, Otepoti/Dunedin, Te Papa-i-Oea/Palmerston North, Ahuriri/Napier and Tamaki Makaurau/Auckland.
