P.H.F. Drops Acoustic Album 'Unplugged'
Clearly releasing an album, several collaborative singles and a debut EP for an entirely new project is no biggie for a year in the life of P.H.F.'s Joe Locke, who shared Gap Industry as autocell just two months back, and today unveils acoustic collection Unplugged. As you'd expect from an album title like that, most of the tracks are stripped back versions of songs from previous albums; New Metal, I Hate Myself, 9mm and Soft, with the delightful combo of acoustic guitar and whistling on album closers 'Sometimes' and 'Drag Thru Urs'. From what I could garner after a bit of fine-tooth internet combing, Unplugged's 'Slur', 'White Cadillac' and 'Skincare' are totally new / unreleased tracks, dotted through the album like tasty little treats between reimaginings of P.H.F. fan favourites. Enjoy the energy saving, off-the-grid edition of P.H.F. on Unplugged...
