Premiere: Jazmine Mary Shares Video For 'Ballad'

Not unlike a supernatural apparition, rematerialising amongst the lush flora and soil of Aotearoa's rural landscape, Jazmine Mary has returned with an entrancing video for 'Ballad' that we're stoked to premiere here today, from the songwriter's debut album The Licking Of A Tangerine. Shot and edited by Courtney Rodgers, and co-directed by the Jazmine Mary and Kyah Dove, the new clip stars the gloriously garbed artist moving through / hovering above her environment with choreographed grace and intention, in an earthy echo to the song's emotive lyrical imagery, even gifting viewers a delectable bouquet of roses. Jazmine Mary celebrates the launch of her latest creation at Leigh Sawmill Cafe tonight, performing with full band in support of Mile Calder's album launch tour, plus she recently declared "I got a new blue rug so everything is looking up".
