Jed Parsons Announces 'Brunch' Album Release Tour
While arguments have been fierce in the UTR office regarding the definitive nature of Brunch [can you eat breakfast and then eat brunch? One or the other? How early is too early for brunch?], one thing we can agree on is Jed Parsons' new album of the same name is pretty dang swish. Foisting upon the world such delectably catchy and heartbreaking singles as 'Sad Together' and 'Playstation & Porn', the ever-dapper Ōtautahi artist has announced an absolutely epic launch tour of Aotearoa, warming our cockles in the increasingly chilly months of May, June and July, plus a September wrap up gig in Onekaka. Clearly not one to do things by halves, Parsons has served up today a whopping list of Brunch dates, 17 shows announced so far — tuck in to the details below...

Press release:
Celebrating the release of his sophomore album 'Brunch', Jed Parsons is embarking on a 19-date tour of Aotearoa, playing a varied mix of intimate to large venues, house concerts to theatres. Parsons will bring his Otautahi-all-star band (Jack Page, Emily C. Browning, Moses Robbins, Matt Andrews) on many dates, while playing stripped back sets with special guests including Gareth Thomas (Goodshirt) and GOODWILL (nomad) on others. Featuring songs from both his latest effort and 2018 Debut Release of the Year finalist 'Midnight Feast', this tour will be a multi-sensory treat for NZ to feast on.
'Brunch' has been a hit with listeners, critics and many publications including Rolling Stone Magazine. RNZ calls the closing track Breathe "one of the best songs of the year" while claiming "nobody is writing catchier choruses in Aotearoa right now" in another review.
The album is out now on vinyl in all good record stores, and streaming on all major platforms.
