The Liams of Night Lunch have been rotoscoping up a storm for the hi-tech 'House Full Of Shit' video — one of the steaming hot tracks on their latest collection Table For Two. It's a breath of fresh air to see these furious young men practising what they screech, taking a less-is-more approach to their music video making and using virtual sets and props rather than accumulating more SHIT. It's just Night Lunch, drums, a double stringed diddley bow, and their everyday office-wear, showing us how to rock out on a budget without sacrificing the integrity of a song. Liam Hoffman and Liam Clune worked with fellow Dunedinite Stephen Marr when building their second EP Table For Two, setting up camp at Tāmaki's Roundhead Studios to ensure a "clear and crispy" sound. Playing at Feastock 2021 next month, this weekend Night Lunch will be tearing up the Crown Hotel two nights in a row, supporting Russian Blue and Filth Wizard on Friday, and Wet Specimen and Opposite Sex on Saturday.
