Kane Strang Unveils New Album 'Happy To Perform'
Completely out of the blue, Tāmaki-based songwriter Kane Strang has sprung upon us new eight track album Happy to Perform. The happy surprise is Strang’s third studio album, with 2016’s Blue Cheese and 2017’s Taite-nominated Two Hearts And No Brain in tow (plus 2013's debut demo collection A Pebble and a Paper Crane), and was produced by Steven John Marr at Roundhead Studios. Jonty O'Connor (Zane 2000), Peter Ruddell (Wax Chattels, Sulfate) and saxophonist Tim Copland make up the talented Strang band, and you'll notice some of Copland's dreamy woodwind on epic track 'Moat', which lands today with a gorgeous Maxi Quy directed video, created with support from NZ On Air. Quick, get your ears round Happy To Perform so you can sing along to the new songs at Kane Strang's Mermgrown Auckland set with band this Saturday...
Kane Strang's album 'Happy To Perform' is out now via major streaming services.
