Premiere: Sea Mouse Unleash Single / Video 'Side B Track 1'

Pōneke's Sea Mouse channel their inner John Lee Hooker and George Thorogood on new rock stomper ‘Side B Track 1’, which we're stoked to premiere here, alongside rip-snorting visuals conjured into creation by director and editor Lee Gingold. Bringing the boogie from the get-go with oodles of blues-rockin' heart and soul, Sea Mouse's clip depicts frontman Seamus Johnson crawling from the wreckage of wild times with an appetite for destruction, grabbing a brew and jamming out with a minotaur (evoking the Greek mythical adventures of Theseus) — concluding with a perhaps more wholesome twist. Created with the support of NZ On Air, featuring eye-popping animated flourishes courtesy of Thinking About Painting and filmed in the horror vacui graffitied interiors of hometown venue San Fran, the clip also notably includes late night segments shot in the streets of Upper Hutt suburb Naenae.
