Listen To Nightmare Honey's Self-Titled Collection
When Beyoncé posed the dichotomy 'Sweet Dream / Beautiful Nightmare' in 2009, she wasn't to know that eleven years on, Raine Genevieve (The Elegant World) would break all the rules to become the both sweet and scary Nightmare Honey. Based in Tāmaki Makaurau, Genevieve roped in local artists Skody Banks, Ary Jansen, Witchy (Shoddy) and more to create the exciting collaborative sounds on their brand new self titled collection. Auckland imprint Cloisterphonics, who claim to specialise in "cassette and floppy disk", took the reins on this release, an appropriate marrying of a label with a love for electronica, psyche and alternative, and an artist who dips their toes into fuzz, doom, pop-rock and ambience in the space of seven tracks...
Nightmare Honey's self-titled collection is out now via Cloisterphonics.
