'Barry: The Man Who Moves The Music' Fundraiser Compilation Launched
Launched in appreciation of Ōtautahi scene champion, RDU Wednesday Drive host and all-around "living legend" Andrew Barry, a fundraiser compilation has been unveiled with all proceeds going to Christchurch City Mission - Te Whare Mīhana ki Ōtautahi. Featuring previously unreleased tunes by artists from throughout Aotearoa, Barry: The Man Who Moves The Music includes top notch contributions from Emily Edrosa, The Sundae Painters (feat members of The Bats, The Clean, Tall Dwarfs), Ben Woods, Instant Fantasy, Salad Boys, Nervous Jerk and many more. If you're hanging around the Garden City this summer you can catch The Sundae Painters, The Axedmen (Axemen with Delaney Davidson) and Violet French with band squeezing in a pre-New Year's knees-up at Lyttelton's The Loons on 30th December. Throw your weight behind an awesome cause, download and donate here via the Bandcamp page of Joe Sampson's "record conglomerate" Oh Yea, Haha...
