SKILAA Unveil Debut EP 'Fantasy Life' + Live Video

SKILAA have had their debut EP cooking low and slow since letting loose their whopper debut single 'Bluffin' in 2018, but at last Fantasy Life is out of the oven — just in time for a sun-soaked weekend. Fronted by Tāmaki's Chelsea Prastiti and her physics-defying vocals, SKILAA have been a staple in the Aotearoa gigging scene, with an all star lineup featuring members of Phoebe Rings, GRG67 and Outside In. Fantasy Life presents a fantastical melting pot of genre, from neo-soul and prog-folk, to "perhaps something you can’t quite put your finger on". The EP's title track and opener 'Travelling' are new SKILAA slices, and the latter comes with a heaping great one-shot video of the full band performing in Jonathan Pearce's (The Beths) studio. The SKILAA crew have two EP release shows lined up for next month, and an appearance at the sold out Welcome To Nowhere Festival in February.
