Emily Edrosa Shares Debut Solo Album 'Another Wave Is Coming'
After several years’ meticulous home studio servitude in Los Angeles, former Street Chant frontwoman Emily Edrosa is back in Tāmaki Makaurau and finally ready to pull back the curtain on her hotly anticipated solo debut Another Wave is Coming. Recorded with a little back-home help from A.C. Freezy’s Alex Freer on drums and The Beths’ Liz Stokes on drum engineering, and mixed by legendary producer John Agnello (Kurt Vile, Sonic Youth, Waxahatchee), Another Wave is Coming is an intricately arranged wash of chiming power-pop and brittle psychedelia, the perfect backdrop for Edrosa’s sardonic tales of love, regret, alienation, and standing around.
Released locally through PSL Sound and in the US via Park The Van Records, Another Wave is Coming is available in standard black and devilish red vinyl.
