French For Rabbits NZ Tour Supports Announced - Emily Edrosa, Lucy Hunter + More
French For Rabbits are hopping down Aotearoa this month, road testing new songs and playing gems from albums Spirits and The Weight Of Melted Snow, and now they've lifted the lid on a trove of support acts who'll pop in along the way. Brooke Singer and John Fitzgerald with bandmates Ben Lemi (Dawn Diver), Penelope Esplin and Hikurangi Schaverien-Kaa make their first stop in Tāmaki next Thursday for an intimate Wine Cellar show, with experimental pop opening act Missy. Emily Edrosa, who recently announced new album Another Wave Is Coming is on the way, joins in for the Hamilton stop next Friday and Lucy Hunter performs her spooky piano pieces in Ōtepoti — if you're lucky she'll play some parts with her forehead! Towards the end of the month, the band take over Ōtautahi's Space Academy with help from folk duo The Swan Sisters, before returning home for a special City Gallery show in Pōneke with indie locals Grawlixes.
