Listen To P.H.F.'s New Album 'New Metal'

We've all been through a lot in 2020, and P.H.F. runs the gamut of emotions while busting out furiously infectious and fuzzy anthems on the Tāmaki Makaurau artist's eagerly awaited latest record New Metal, out today digitally via Los Angeles imprint Danger Collective Records. The regularly genre-defying project of Joe Locke (NO-CLIP), P.H.F. has never put a foot wrong in nearly a decade's worth of releases, yet somehow delivers what may be his most consistently thrilling collection to date on New Metal.

Crammed with sixteen tracks operating loosely within a grungy garage-punk realm, including earlier releases 'More / Marsh', 'Living Is Easy', 'Simple Pleasures' and the title track, there's an abundance of songs to soak up and lose yourself inside the huge feelings on the record — which was mastered by Locke's close friend and collaborator Reuben Winter (Totems, Milk), who sadly passed away two weeks ago.
