Goner Records' legendary GonerFest celebrate their seventeenth year in style this weekend, shifting to the online realm while 2020 attempts to sort its shit out. While live shows are off the cards in the US, the three day festival's new streaming format means NZ bands don't have to lug all their gear halfway across the planet to Memphis and spend bloody thousands of dollars on flights to join the fun. Instead local champs Ounce, Na Noise, Dick Move, Guardian Singles and Bloodbags can simply set up on stage at Tāmaki Makaurau's Whammy Bar and let rip.
