Mousey Reveals Spring NZ Tour Supports Ft. Wiri Donna, Mixed Vege + More

It's almost been one year since Mousey released their debut album Lemon Law, garnering songwriter Sarena Close an Auckland Live Best Independent Debut award nomination, and swathes of praise and new fans. To give the LP a proper send off before moving on to the next project, Close and band are touring the country this month and next, popping into five cities with an impressive roster of support acts. Kicking off festivities at Auckland's Wine Cellar with Rodney Fisher's (Goodshirt) bedroom pop outfit Mixed Vege, the band then trek South for Pōneke, where attendees get a taste of punk duo Bored Housewives Club, and Wiri Donna (Bianca Bailey) before her appearance at next year's Welcome To Nowhere Festival. Those Blenheim adjacent will be treated to Melbourne / Ōtautahi songwriter MIM, and Lyttelton folk singer Candice Milner offers her killer pipes for Dunedin and Christchurch shows, alongside Emily Fairlight and Too Woke For Toast respectively.
