Listen To Pitch Black's 'Electronomicon Live' Album
As part of the weekend's Bandcamp Friday tsunami of releases (which bled into Saturday evening NZST), Aotearoa electronic dub pioneers Pitch Black unveiled a six track collection of vintage live recordings, celebrating in style the 20th anniversary of their year 2000 album Electronomicon. Still charging hard today (aside from any Covid-19 related curveballs), the veteran team of Mike Hodgson and Paddy Free's Electronomicon Live offers listeners a lysergic rewind back to the Y2K era, serving up crisp versions of tunes from their classic sophomore record — sourced direct from a digital audio tape treasure trove including performances of the pair at Big Day Out 2002 and Rippon 2000. Keep it locked for news of a forthcoming vinyl LP reissue of Pitch Black's Electronomicon and dive in below...
'Electronomicon Live' is out now digitally "on a pay as you want basis" via Pitch Black's Bandcamp page here.
