The Dead C Reveal 'Grunt Machine' From New Album 'Unknowns'

With all that 2020's already thrown at us, it feels right that Aotearoa's foremost purveyors of no-rules noise The Dead C would re-emerge to blast holes through our skulls with their slo-mo squall attack, so we can reassemble the pieces in a whole new way befitting our turbulent times. The legendary South Island trio of Robbie Yates, Bruce Russell and Michael Morley have a new record aptly titled Unknowns ready to drop in mid-October via New York imprint Ba Da Bing Records, and have revealed lead tune 'Grunt Machine' like an addled carrot on a stick for the five track affair. I literally got a fright when Morley's vocals came in around the halfway mark of 'Grunt Machine', as sure a sign as any that The Dead C continue to deliver the goods like none other — listen up here...
