A brand spanking new collection of kiwi anthems reimagined by Aotearoa rising stars has emerged onto the online realm, courtesy of Tāmaki's FOH Records. An ever-expanding balancing act of club-smoking remixes, bootlegs and full blown covers, highlights from Nature's Pest Volume 01 include Leaping Tiger's vibe-drenched cyber-ballad take on Crowded House's 'Don't Dream It's Over', Josie Moon x Art Heist's amped up rendition of Goodnight Nurse's 'Loner' (described by Moon as "what me + blink 182 + 100 gecs sounds like in a blender") and Rei's slick RnB cover of Dave Dobbyn and Herbs' 'Slice Of Heaven'. Out now via the FOH Records Bandcamp page, the organisers state "Instead of paying for these songs we recommend donating to Music Helps" — tuck into the collection here, with more tunes yet to be revealed...
