Tāmaki Makaurau sonic travellers Pumice, now the mind-meld of Stefan Neville and Jade Farley, have shared two timeless epics from their upcoming collection Table. Singles 'Necklace On A Necklace' and 'Gride' do the impossible – blending bucolic sound of violin, snare and organ to create lush tunes I could honestly see myself enjoying with Scottish ancestors upon a Skye loch. If the late October EP release date is feeling too far away, the "porous rock" duo are playing their instrumental wonders live on Friday the 21st of August in Kirikiriroa (Hamilton) alongside Kraus. Press play on the latest from Pumice below, it'll bring a little bit of grandeur to your Monday...
'Table' is out in full Friday 23rd October via Soft Abuse.
