Canterbury's annual surf fest The Single Fin Mingle returns to the seaside suburb of Sumner this July, celebrating Aotearoa's wave-riding culture with traditional surfing displays, art shows, film screenings and musical rager, The Mid-Winter Mingle. Bringing the party and some ripping on-stage heat to the heart of Sumner Village will be Tāmaki Makaurau rock dynamos Mini Simmons, the sunny grooves of rising songwriter / multi-instrumentalist Arjuna Oakes and emerging hometown heroes There's a Tuesday. The Single Fin Mingle is an annual multi-faceted festival that celebrates traditional longboarding and the joyous culture that surrounds it. Through our prestigious competition, Film Gala, Art Shows and Musical Soirees, The Mingle is a way of building human connection through having a marvellous time.

The 2020 Mid Winter Mingle Village Knees Up presented by Corona Ligera will be nothing short of magical. A party in the heart of Sumner Village under winter skies.

Opening the musical proceedings will be Sumner’s latest spawn to be making a big mark of NZ music and a group that we know is about to boom - There's a Tuesday. Next, the groove will continue to grow with the soulful funk sounds of Auckland based groovers, Arjuna Oakes. Finally, with their charismatic flair and a sound that demands to be danced to, Mini Simmons will launch us straight to stratosphere perfection.

These stylish surfers really know how to put on a good show with the past three years selling out these tickets won't hang around (and only a limited number of door sales available). They are also sticklers for fine fashion (seriously - expect to see a plethora of retro suits and the dresses) so be sure to bring out your glad rags but be sure to dress for a cool night of boogie the beach.
