Bulletbelt Reveal Furious Single / Video 'Blade On The Fire'
With a fresh lineup and fourth studio album Warlords ready to drop in early July, Pōneke's Bulletbelt leap back into action with fearsome lead single 'Blade On The Fire', accompanied by an in-studio video directed by Amber Beaton. Inspired by Chilean warrior, Galvarino, who fought with knives attached to the stumps on each arm (!), 'Blade On The Fire' delivers a bracing sonic assault on the senses, intensified even further by the blood-curdling yowls and fist-pumping war cries of new vocalist Paul Roberts.
Recorded and mixed by James Goldsmith (Beastwars, Earth Tongue) and featuring awesome artwork by Scarecrowoven, Warlords heralds a bold new era for Bulletbelt, with drummer Steve Francis and bassist Tim Mekalick joined by guitarist Josh Obrien and singer Roberts on the nine track opus. Available for pre-order now on vinyl LP and CD (along with special limited edition bundles including a skateboard deck, t-shirt, bottle opener, sticket and guitar pick), you can learn more about the driving force behind Bulletbelt's new long player by watching Prevail And Conquer, Amber Beaton's sixteen minute documentary dragging you into the fiery pits of their recording sessions below...
'Warlords' is out digitally and on vinyl LP and compact disc on Wednesday 1st July – available for pre-order now via Bulletbelt's Bandcamp page here, limited edition bundles are available.
