Raiza Biza Drops Concept Album 'Grand Opening, Grand Closing'
Rwandan-Kiwi hip hop artist and YGB affiliate Raiza Biza (High Beams) wears his heart on his sleeve on new project Grand Opening, Grand Closing. The 9-track album takes the listener through aural 'scenes', each song soundtracking the ups and down of a relationship "in the style of the film." Raiza Biza flexes his songwriter strengths here too, easing up the pace on slow jams 'A Piano Song', 'Save Me' and 'Closure'. Tāmaki Makaurau rap maverick NXVA and NoManzMusic's Lrae Akanuk pop up on a few tracks, adding depth to an already sterling collection of hip-hop and storytelling. Someone find this man a film to score, because Grand Opening, Grand Closing is a knockout release...
The latest offering from Raiza Biz 'Grand Opening, Grand Closing' is available now online.
