Dateline Release Fundraiser EP 'Dateline Live!'
Tāmaki Makaurau / Hastings indie-pop group Dateline have earned all their NZ Music Month brownie points in one go, releasing a three-track live EP today, with all the profits to be donated to the We Love Whammy / Wine Cellar Boosted campaign, and a mention of another collection due out before the end of the year (special bonus flair points for having so many great band pics to choose from). Released on rising local label Sunreturn, Dateline Live! was recorded by Bob Frisbee during their opening set for US artist Jay Som back in February B.C. (Before Covid-19) at Neck Of The Woods. In addition to fan favourite 'Such A Bitch', the EP features two unreleased tracks 'Don't Know (What To Do With Me)' and 'Love Hertz', both aggressively romantic and rich with self-deprecation as all good Dateline songs are. Score yourself a digital copy while Bandcamp is waiving its fees (from 7.00pm tonight until 7.00pm Saturday 2nd May, NZT) and let the warm fluffies wash over you...
Enjoy a magical trip to the park in the buzzy clip for 'Such A Bitch'...
