Released in March via Italian imprint Vein Label, now's a timely moment to immerse your ears in Samari's nine track debut album Hyper Normal. Drawing inspiration from Detroit techno pioneer Jeff Mills' complete reimagining of the soundtrack to Fritz Lang's Metropolis, Hyper Normal offers an uncompromising sonic reflection on and distillation of themes from Curtis' epic, with individual tracks titled after each chapter of the nine part film.
