ONONO Drops Dance-Pop Single 'LUV ME 2'
Jonathan Nott created the latest ONONO single 'LUV ME 2' in a single sitting after dinner one night, drawing inspiration from beats on Mark Ronson's Record Collection and Fleet Foxes-style vocals. Finding time between drumming for Broods and Hans Pucket, Nott has dropped dance tracks 'Fontelina' and now 'LUV ME 2' since his psych-pop Stand EP in 2018, teasing the release of the next ONONO collection this winter. Based in Pōneke when he's not touring the world, Nott has taken a self-reflective path with his new tunes, and hidden in the grooves of the latest single are lyrics about "sharing your secrets and taking the risk." ONONO has a handful of live shows in the calendar, playing Parrotdog Bar next month and supporting Mako Road on their Aotearoa tour in May. Enjoy a much needed pick-me-up with the catchy cut 'LUV ME 2'...
ONONO have an album release lined up for June / July this year.
