Reb Fountain Announces Self-Titled New Album + Unveils Single 'Samson'
Auckland-based songwriter Reb Fountain will be the talk on the town this weekend, with news of signing to the legendary Flying Nun Records, a self-titled album on the horizon, and lead single 'Samson' released today alongside jaw dropping visuals. Fountain has been on the Aotearoa music scene for yonks, having worked with Neil Finn, Marlon Williams, Don McGlashan and Tami Neilson to name a few, while living and breathing the Lyttelton folk scene. 'Samson' introduces another side to the singer, somehow reminiscent of Lana Del Rey and Tom Waits all at once. Before Fountain takes off for SXSW this March she has shows lined up at Cornwell Park, Kumeu Live and WOMAD. Take in the bittersweet clip below, featuring a positively stunning Medulla Oblongata...
Reb Fountain's self-titled album is out May 1st via Flying Nun.
