Watch Pickle Darling's Video For 'Mouthful'
Canterbury DIY pop artist Pickle Darling aka Lukas Mayo has revealed slinky new video for 'Mouthful', in advance of his first ever Aotearoa tour pencilled in for mid-March. Directed by and starring Annabel Kean (Assistant Editor of this very website) and filmed by Callum Devlin (aka Sports Team) with title animations by Karin Yamasaki, the performative clip activates a visually diverse range of slides dotted around public parks throughout Wanaka, Omarama, Kimbell, Fairlie, Geraldine, Christchurch and Auckland. Kean didn't require any special clothing to assist in all the sliding, stating she has "slippery skin" – enjoy the colourful and conceptually focussed complement to Pickle Darling's delicate tune (from his debut album Bigness) and catch him touring in autumn...
UPDATE 18/03/20: Pickle Darling's autumn tour has sadly been cancelled – hopefully we'll get to catch him live in the near future...
