French Concession Unveils Single 'End Of Time' + Video

Aotearoa / Hong Kong electronic auteur French Concession aka Ella Chau Yin Chi has reemerged with a visionary self-directed video for standalone single 'End Of Time'. Filmed in the lush labyrinthine environment of a private garden in Ohoka, North Canterbury and embellished with subtle flourishes of digital animation, French Concession's clip fleshes out sci-fi lyrics alluding to an alternate afterlife realm, set in a future far removed from contemporary norms.

Ella Chau Yin Chi states "I imagined this track as a love song played at a far future wedding... The face masks were hand crafted and sewed by myself. Each mask represents a forest creature living in the magical secret garden greeting the viewer and end to the video's mystical appeal."
