A second single has been revealed from Mansfield, an upcoming collection setting to music the poetry of Aotearoa literary icon Katherine Mansfield. Silver Scroll winner Lawrence Arabia's take on 'Malade' (first published in 1927) places the work in the realm of stately guitar-pop, with none other than Julien Dyne (Avantdale Bowling Club) handling percussion duties – the tune's cheerful grooves belying the dark subject matter of two strangers afflicted with tuberculosis hearing each other cough in the night.
