Tāmaki Makaurau rising stars of emotive electronic pop Fimo revealed their five track debut EP over the weekend, welcomed into the world with a dancefloor-igniting set at The Wine Cellar, alongside buds PHF and Moody.v and the Menstrual Cycle. The creation of Moe Zass (Bandicoot, $noregazzzm, scabs) and Amelia Berry (Polyester, Amamelia) and dedicated to their trans and non-binary whanau, True Love Fades gifts fans three fresh tracks including latest single 'Natural Feeling', alongside previously road-tested student radio hits 'Falling For You' and 'Sugar Soap'. While the group are geographically separated by the Tasman Sea over the near future, absence is sure to make the heart grow fonder – Fimo have hinted more live shows may be on the cards for around mid-2020.
