Kane Strang + Merk To Support Frankie Cosmos New Zealand Shows

NYC songwriting talent Greta Kline's ever-evolving project Frankie Cosmos returns to Aotearoa this coming April, with headline events slated for Tāmaki Makaurau's Whammy Bar and Pōneke's Meow. Fresh from the release of their 2019 fourth studio album Close It Quietly (and recent contribution to David Berman tribute collection Late Homework, featuring our own Pickle Darling), regional supports have been revealed for Frankie Cosmos' North Island shows, with local heroes Kane Strang and Merk both performing solo before Kline and the gang hit the stage. UPDATE 12/03/20: Frankie Cosmos have postponed their April NZ shows and shared a statement: "We’ve been dreaming of returning to Australia & New Zealand since our wonderful tour there in 2017. But in light of current global events, we’ve decided to postpone our upcoming shows there for a future time. To say that we’re bummed out is an enormous understatement. We’re gonna try our best to come back as soon as possible! We love Australia and New Zealand so much. We hope you love us back, still. xoxo Frankie Cosmos."
