Press Release:
Known for their whimsical and off-kilter approach to song writing as well as their erratic live performances, Pōneke based indie/post-alternative/post-post-punk band Oh Sweet Nothings are celebrating the release of their new EP, Emergency Procedures, by embarking on an epic tour of the north island:
Largely self-produced and entirely self-released, Emergency Procedures is the result of refining 4 years of chaotic bedroom jam sessions into a coherent, high-octane dose of post-post-punk/garage/indie rock bangers. Emergency Procedures offers a safe platform for those non-imminent, exasperated personal emergencies we all suffer, such as:
-Big moods
-Quarter-life crises
-Unresolved teenage angst
-Heartache
-General unease
-Disillusionment with society
We've all been on one or more of these vibes from time to time, and we all know they can be some real slippery buggers. But last we checked, Civil Defence New Zealand hasn’t organised a single emergency pack for validating/processing existential angst.
So, make your way to one (or all) of the designated north island Emergency Procedures assembly points for a few hours of silly, heartfelt, and slightly pretentious rock ‘n’ roll music to help address your unresolved angst, dark truths, and repressed desires.
