Watch Lake South's Video For 'Mount Victoria / Tangi-te-keo'
Pōneke electronic producer and songwriter Lake South has shared a dynamic new video for his song 'Mount Victoria / Tangi-te-keo'. With his recent album Wellington / Te Upoko O Te Ika a personal psychogeography of our capital, this latest video serves as a loving tribute to one of the city’s most iconic landmarks. Made with long-time collaborators Poor Sailors Arts Collective and Sonder, the clip cuts between day amongst the gorse-covered hillside and night with a dramatically lit bacchanal performed by the Solid Gold Dance Crew. If you’re after some truly gorgeous shots of Pōneke and an indescribable technicolour coat, then take a journey to Mount Victoria below…
'Wellington | Te Upoko O Te Ika' is out now digitally and in a unique limited physical edition via Lake South's Bandcamp page here. Check out the accompanying app for the album right here.
