Listen To Flogging A Dead One Horse Town's 'Meteorite Debris'
Otumoetai / Christchurch two-piece Flogging A Dead One Horse Town aka Tim Roberts and David Shannon have dropped a jagged slice of instrumental noise rock titled ‘Meteorite Debris’. The angular, saturated guitar lines and militant drum grooves invoke images of malignant extraterrestrial maraudings, with sonic similarities to post-punk provocateurs Shellac shining through the devastated aural rubble. ‘Meteorite Debris’ is lifted from an eponymously titled compilation which brings together selected works from three of the band’s five recently self-released EPs, to be available digitally and on limited edition cassette via UK-based, NZ independent flag flyers Muzai Records from this Friday onwards. The band will make their full earlier EPs (up to EP9) available via their Bandcamp page – examine the ominous ‘Meteorite Debris’ below...
'Flogging A Dead One Horse Town' is out Friday 1st November via Muzai Records.
