In the process of recording a Renderers album a few years ago, an entire Brian Crook solo collection also emerged from the scores of demos brought to the table. With songs drawing upon eight years worth of material, This World Just Eats Me Up Alive is the first solo release from the formerly Ōtautahi-based artist (now living in Joshua Tree, California) since 2000's Bathysphere, featuring tunes recorded in sessions with both The Renderers and fellow Canterbury sonic pioneers The Terminals, of which Crook is also a long-term member. Dive into a stream of all seven tracks here...
‘This World Just Eats Me Up Alive’ is out now digitally and on vinyl LP via Ba Da Bing! Records.
