Listen To Fimo's Debut Single 'Falling For You'
Tāmaki Makaurau's Fimo have announced themselves to the world with 'Falling For You', the first ever release from the electronic dance-pop team of Amelia Berry (Polyester, Amamelia) and Moe Zass fka Pearl McGlashan (Bandicoot, $noregazzzm, scabs). Overflowing with instantly catchy hooks and heart-melting wordplay, 'Falling For You' offers listeners an anthem exploring "the ecstasy and angst of the queer experience," echoing the woozy lyricism of Berry's earlier songwriting work in Polyester with a club-friendly twist. Mixed and mastered by local hero Rohan Evans, 'Falling For You' is the first shot fired from Fimo's forthcoming debut EP and hopefully hints at must-see live performances from the duo in the near future.
Zass explains: "This was the very first demo Amelia played me and I loved it instantly. I genuinely don’t think a gayer song about beach makeouts has ever been written."
