Play King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard's Video Game 'Mars For The Rich'
Melbourne powerhouses King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard seem to have pivoted immediately from the singalong whimsy of their recent long-player Fishing For Fishies to environmentally aware thrash anthems, showcased on their new album Infest the Rats' Nest dropping this Friday. Charging forward in a politically-charged jugular vein comes the surprise release of an online video game from the group titled Mars For The Rich (also a song on Infest the Rats' Nest) – an evident jab at the futuristic off-planet ambitions of megabucks technology entrepreneur Elon Musk. Mars For The Rich takes the form of a first person shooter in the spirit of 90s hyper-violent classic DOOM. We gave it a quick spin and were swiftly devoured by a swarm of rats – we can confirm it's only for desktop use (you can't play it on a phone), and sports a cranking soundtrack from King Giz. There's reports of all kinds of secrets and maybe even bonus tracks from the band lurking within, play the game by clicking on the image below...

'Infest the Rats' Nest' is out on Friday 16th August via Flightless Records.
