Bon Iver, fronted by US songwriter Justin Vernon, have shared with fans a behind the scenes mini-documentary titled Bon Iver: Autumn, teasing the imminent launch of their fourth album i,i, in late August. Vernon opens up about the ideas bubbling through the group's forthcoming album, and the challenges involved in translating the sonically ambitious studio material to a live context. Working with a crack team of designers and technical experts, they've cooked up what looks to be an absolutely dazzling complement to Bon Iver's expansive tunes – aiming to conjure and enhance a communal live experience for audiences attending the band's upcoming arena tour of the US. The new record features such notable contributors as James Blake, Moses Sumney, Brad and Phil Cook (Megafaun), Aaron and Bryce Dessner (The National), Channy Leaneagh (Polica), Velvet Negroni, and producer Marta Salogni – take in an intimate glimpse of what's to come...
