Genre-hopping Tāmaki Makaurau producer christoph el' truento has dropped a new album named Foraging on Berlin / Aotearoa electronic label Cosmic Compositions. Coming just six months after truento’s peace maker dub collection, Foraging takes inspiration from new age and ambient records of the 80’s and 90’s, filtering them through a distinctly digital lens. With a focus on natural and environmental sounds, the record comes together as an aurally reconstituted Aotearoa, an imagined, meditative landscape – the perfect accompaniment to a cup of tea and a lie down.
