Christchurch's Kool Aid Drop Single 'Family Portrait Revisited' + Video
Christchurch's Kool Aid (formerly Brian Tamaki and the Kool-Aid Kids) have dropped the one-two audio-visual punch of a breezy new single 'Family Portrait Revisited' with an accompanying video filmed by Anthony Millan. The first shot fired from the off-kilter guitar-pop crew's upcoming Family Portrait EP sees the five piece squeeze in a car, for a FOMO-inducing summery day trip to the outer suburbs. The clip's zoned vibes fit the easygoing spirit of 'Family Portrait Revisited' to a tee, getting us psyched to hear the whole record releasing this week via the champs at Melted Ice Cream Records (helmed by Kool Aid's Brian Feary). You can catch them in action this Friday at darkroom and supporting Auckland's Créme Jéan at Space Academy in early August – take in 'Family Portrait Revisited' here...
Kool Aid's 'Family Portrait' EP is out Thursday 11th July via Melted Ice Cream.
