First Lineup Announced For Southern Fork Americana Fest 2019
Aotearoa’s ultimate Americana festival is back! The Southern Fork Americana Fest 2019 celebrates its sixth year with the best of local and overseas country, folk and bluegrass this October, and the first lineup has been revealed to appear over six nights at Auckland's Tuning Fork. Local double-bass thwackers Albi & The Wolves will be making a knee-slapping appearance, and Ōtautahi soul powerhouse Tami Neilson will be showing US artists what we’ve got to offer too. Nashville multi-instrumentalist Molly Tuttle is taking the stage for a double headline with Alabama falsetto Dee White, while sibling folk-rockers The Felice Brothers will be warming up their accordions all the way from New York. LA country-swing maestro Pokey LaFarge is bringing his band and old timey story-telling tunes along for the ride, plus bad-boy rockabilly duo Jonny Fritz and Joshua Hedley will be fiddle-picking the night away in the true spirit of The Southern Fork. Take in the details unveiled so far below and stay tuned for more lineup announcements...
